Goodrich’s season comes to an end

BATTLE CREEK — The third time was not the charm for the Goodrich baseball team as it made its third appearance in the state’s Div. 2 final four post-season tournament last Friday.
The Martians, 36-5, were eliminated by Dearborn Divine Child after a nearly four-hour rain delayed game that ended in Dearborn’s favor, 5-3. Good- rich’s last two trips to the finals were in 2001 and 2003 when the school was in Div. 3. In 2001, the Martians lost to Berrien Springs, and in 2003 were ousted by Morley-Stanwood.
