Scores and deadlines
AREAWIDE — Another season is upon us, and with contests already underway and new coaches on the scene, it’s an opportune time for us to help you out with reporting game scores.
Your VIEW newspaper goes to press every Wednesday, so scores must reach us by 9 a.m. at the latest to be included in each edition. We provide 24/7 methods of reporting scores via FAX, voicemail or email. Wednesday-through-Saturday scores should be reported no later than Monday at 10 a.m., while Monday and Tuesday games should reach us right after those competitions.

Keeping it brief
If you have a sports brief that you’d like us to run, which can include outings, fundraisings, coaching position openings, or anything else sports-related that is short, send us the details for consideration.
Photos are always welcome for consideration as well, but must be in focus, in color, unedited and a minimum of 200 by 480 pixels. You can also drop off prints to our office for scanning. Prints submitted can be picked up after our Wednesday deadline, and we do not mail photos back. Please also do not write on the back of the photos. Jot down the details on a separate note.
