Jacqualyn Mae (Burton) Edwards, 77, of Grand Blanc, passed away Monday, February 19, 2007, at Genesys Health Park. She was born on November 4, 1929, in Lorain, Ohio, to Thomas H. and Edna M. Burton. On June 16, 1951, Jacqualyn married William R. Edwards in Lorain, Ohio.
Jacqualyn was an avid painter and especially enjoyed water colors. She took classes for painting and belonged to many art guilds. She was a good bowler and loved to play tennis. Jacqualyn was a devoted mother and grand mother. Her greatest joy was in her family. She will be sadly missed by all.
She is survived by her husband; William R. Edwards, her children; Lynn Ann (Brian) Wylie of Denver, Colorado, Donald Thomas (Theresa) Edwards of Sparta, Michigan, and Jean Marie (David) Rosser of Brighton, Michigan, Grandchildren; Erin Wylie, Steven Wylie and Kevin Wylie of Denver, Colorado and Sarah Rosser and Colin Rosser of Brighton, Michigan, brother; William "Jim" (Beth) of Kissimmee, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Thomas H. and Edna M. Burton and siblings; Thomas Jr. and Patricia Hirz.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial tributes be made to the American Cancer Society, 2413 South Linden Road, Suite A, Flint, Michigan 48532. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
Visitations will begin at 1 P.M. until the time of the Funeral Service.
Funeral Services will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Hill Funeral Home, Grand Blanc.
