Middle school
unveils artwork
GRAND BLANC — Grand Blanc East Middle School unveiled donated artwork today.
Four students — three eighth-graders and one freshman at Grand Blanc High School — donated their original works of art for permanent display at the school. The artwork includes a Surrealist-inspired textured drawing of a hand; a self-portrait in pencil; an oil pastel of a cat; and a mixed medium self-profile.
“School officials and art teachers hope students in subsequent years will be inspired to fill the school with original works of donated art,” said Communications Coordinator Mary Nerreter. — N.B.
