Travelers can check
weather and roads
GENESEE COUNTY
— Travelers can check statewide road conditions with the State Police Winter Travel Advisory, which posts reports twice daily.
Conditions are listed for freeways and state trunk lines, which are the first to be cleared during inclement weather. While drivers are encouraged to use all available information when making winter travel plans, even the latest, most accurate information is not a substitute for good judgment, advisory officials note.
Call the advisory hotline at 800-381-8477. Or to check online, visit www.michigan.gov/roadconditions. Click on the map to see travel conditions in any Michigan’s counties. — R.A.
