GRAND BLANC TWP. -- A Louisiana woman driving a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser rear-ended a 1996 Mercury sedan driven by an Indiana man while traveling northbound on South Saginaw Street near Parkhurst Lane on Saturday.

A vehicle traveling in front of the male driver made a sudden stop, which caused the Indiana man to stop suddenly, but the female driver could not stop in time to avoid the crash. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

 

Brush back

GRAND BLANC TWP. -- A Linden man driving a 2004 Chevrolet pickup brushed up against a 1999 Ford Taurus driven by a Grand Blanc woman causing an accident on northbound Saginaw Street last Friday.

The crash occurred as the vehicles, which had been traveling eastbound on Baldwin Road, turned left on to Saginaw Street. There were no injuries and no citations were issued.

 

Watch ramps

GRAND BLANC TWP. -- A man driving a 2001 Saturn rear-ended a Howell man driving a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix on Holly Road near the I-75 northbound entrance ramp last weekend.

The Howell man had to brake quickly to avoid hitting two other vehicles involved in a crash. The driver of the Saturn did not brake in time to avoid hitting the Grand Prix. No citations were issued.

 

Spin out

GRAND BLANC TWP. -- Woman driving a 1989 Mercedes on northbound I-75 near Dort Highway lost control of her vehicle and spun out several times, hitting the guardrail last week. No citations were issued in the incident and no information was available on the condition of the woman.
