Icy roads
GRAND BLANC TWP. — A Holly woman, driving her 1993 Chevy mini-van eastbound at Baldwin and Holly roads, hit a patch of ice and crossed into oncoming traffic last Friday.
The woman’s vehicle struck a 1999 GMC pickup driven by a Goodrich man, careened off the pickup and hit a guardrail. There were no injuries and no citations in the incident.

Red ran
GRAND BLANC TWP. — A Fenton man driving a 2002 GMC Sierra ran a red light, hitting a semi-trailer driven by a West Olive, Mich., man at the Baldwin and Holly roads intersection Nov. 28.
The Fenton man was cited for failing to yield and taken to Genesys Regional Medical Center for examination. There was no information on his current condition.

Hit and run
GRAND BLANC TWP. — A Winding Ridge Drive man reported that another vehicle hit the driver’s side front door of his white 2003 Chevy Blazer sometime between 10:30 p.m. Nov. 27 and 4 p.m. Nov. 28.
Based on paint markings, the fleeing vehicle was red, said authorities, who have no leads in the case.

Hit and run II
GRAND BLANC TWP. — An unknown person drove their vehicle into the front driver’s side bumper of a 2000 Ford Expedition parked at Heritage Park Nov. 28 and then left the accident scene. Damage estimate is $1,500. Police have no suspects.
