Security Federal redesigns business accounts
GENESEE COUNTY — Security Federal Credit Union (SFCU) recently announced it has redesigned its business checking account,
The new business account is free and available to businesses located within SFCU’s field of membership, which includes Genesee County, Lapeer County, Shiawassee County, Deerfield Township, Tyrone Township and most of Saginaw County.
Account features include no monthly or per-check service charge; no minimum balance; unlimited transactions; 24-hour account access; online banking and bill pay; MasterCard check and ATM card; financial education and free checking accounts for employees at businesses that enroll.

FLINT — The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce holds sales-leads roundtables each month.
Group I meets 9-10 a.m. the first and third Wednesday at Hooters, 3415 Miller Rd. in Flint Township. Group II meets the second, third and fourth Friday at the Holiday Inn Express, 1150 Robert T. Longway Blvd.

Regional Chamber eye-opener breakfast
BURTON — The Genesee Regional Chamber of Commerce hosts an eye-opener breakfast Aug. 21 at Walli’s Restaurant, 1341 S. Center Rd., from 7:30-9 a.m.
Guest speaker is Sharon Blumeno from Automation Alley. Cost is $8 for chamber members and $13 for non-members. Price includes a hot breakfast buffet.
