Caregiver support meets each Wednesday
FLINT — Genesys Regional Medical Center is offering a support group for caregivers of elderly or handicapped family members on the fourth Wednesday of every month from 1-3 p.m.
The group meets at the West Flint Campus, located at 3921 Beecher Rd., in the Gerontology Center.

Bariatric support group at Hurley Bariatric Center
FLINT — Hurley Bariatric Center offers a bariatric surgery support group on the first Monday of each month from 5:30-7 p.m.
The group meets at the center, located at 2700 Robert T. Longway Blvd., Suite H. — A.S.

Asthma education class
FLINT — Hurley Asthma Center has created an ongoing series of asthma education classes on the first Saturday of each month.
Classes are designed to help people with asthma develop action plans and learn about medications, peak flow, triggers, symptoms, spacers and inhalers.
The asthma center is located at 1125 S. Linden Rd. in room 300.

VSN offers monthly grief support groups
DAVISON — The Visiting Nurse Services of Michigan’s hospice program provides an ongoing grief support group called New Tomorrows for those who have lost a loved one.
The group is open to residents of Genesee County and is free of charge.
The group meets at the Davison Senior Center on the second and fourth Monday of each month from 5-7 p.m.
The center is located at 10135 Lapeer Road.
