Campers wanted for Humane Society event

BURTON — Calling all kids who like animals and want to learn more! The Genesee County Humane Society is looking for kids ages 6-15 for its after-school camp.

The camp focuses on teaching children about pet grooming, animal safety and dog training, while interjecting the learning with animal crafts and more. Children who complete the camp will receive volunteer status with the Humane Society.

The camp runs 4:30-6 p.m. Sept. 10-12 at the Humane Society, 3325 S. Dort Hwy. Cost is $36 per child, and preregistration is required.
