YPSILANTI — Attention all Elvis fans! The king is coming.
The ninth annual Michigan Elvisfest will hit the stage 5 p.m.-midnight July 11 and noon-midnight July 12 at Shady Riverside Park, Depot Town.
Professional Elvis tribute artists will perform their award winning acts. The Beatles, Tom Jones, Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly tribute artists will also perform.
Friday evening, a Salute to the Troops will take place. Men and women in active duty or reserve uniforms will receive free admittance. Free patriotic gifts are available for the first 850 visitors.
Activities for the festival include a children’s play area, face painting, clowns, magic acts, stilt walkers, kid karaoke, a space walk, animal exhibits, crafts, rock climbing, a beer tent, great food and a classic car show.
