GENESEE COUNTY — The U-12 Mesa Panthers moved up and won the U-13 division at the 7-Eleven Classic. The Panthers outscored their opponents 18-1 en route to the championship. The Panthers, who are ranked in the top 10, will play in the Michigan Premier League in the fall as a U-13 team. LAPEER — A kid’s soccer camp will be hosted by The Lapeer Soccer Club and Lapeer East Soccer programs July 28-31 at Lapeer East from 9 a.m.-noon. LAPEER — A fault in the refrigeration equipment has forced the temporary closing of the Polar Palace Arena Complex.
