LAPEER — The non-profit Great Lakes Bioregional Land Conservancy (GLBLC) has been serving Lapeer County and the surrounding area since 1994.

Its mission is “to protect farmland and natural areas, support environmental education programs, and create a network of land stewardship demonstration properties.”

It maintains five properties, including the Sutherland Nature Sanctuary. See its website for more details at www.glblc.org.

To become a member (individual $15, family $25), donate to its programs, or volunteer, contact GLBLC at (810) 664-5647, email ldorr@usol.com, or write GLBLC at PO Box 303, Lapeer 48446. — R.A.
