YPSILANTI — Elvis may have left the building, but his memory lives on at Elvisfest.
Elvis tribute artists from all over North America will perform, along with The Beatles, Tom Jones, Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly tribute artists.
On Friday, July 11, from 5 p.m.-midnight and Saturday, July 12, from noon-midnight, these artists will gather at 10 E. Cross St in Ypsilanti for a salute to the troops. Men and women in active duty or reserve uniforms are admitted to the event for free.
There will be a children’s play area, face painting, clowns, magic acts, stilt walkers, kid karaoke, a space walk, animal exhibits, crafts and rock climbing for the junior Elvis fans, and a beer tent and classic car show for the adults.
