ATTICA — For 17 years, the Attica/Imlay Masonic Lodge No. 295 has awarded the Edgar A. Guest Award to someone in the community, a non-Mason who has demonstrated distinguished service to their community and fellow man. This year the award was presented to Arlan Winslow at a special ceremony held on June 21 at the Masonic Hall in Attica.
Arlan is a lifelong resident and former police chief of Imlay City. The award was in recognition of his “tremendous efforts and distinguished service to the Imlay City Community.” Arlan also received certificates of achievement from the State of Michigan presented by Rep. John Stahl, Lapeer County by Commissioner Ian Kempf and the City of Imlay City by Mayor Rod Warner. — VIEW Staff
