Community Chat gets new hosts

LAPEER — Duffy Connolly and John Lindsey have stepped up as the new host and co-host of the Community Chat on Lapeer’s Real Country, 1530 AMWLCO.

Connolly is a local musician and Lapeer West graduate; Lindsey is also a Lapeer West graduate and the owner of PC Lapeer Computer Solutions. The lifelong friends grew up as neighbors and share stories of childhood memories and current situations.

Community Chat is a talk hour on the classic and modern country station. The chat focuses on local news and events. The show airs every Monday and Wednesday at 11 a.m. and is rebroadcast on Sundays at 7 a.m. on sister station 103.1 FM, WQUS.

Listeners can call the studio line, 866-533-1530, during the show. To share topic ideas or for information on becoming a guest, call the station at 810-667-7450 and ask for Dan Foley or stop by PC Lapeer Computer Solutions on E. Genesee Street to speak with John Lindsey. — J.F.
