OREGON TWP. — Beat the gas prices this year by exploring nearby summer camps.

A new summer day camp is offered by 4-H on Tuesday, July 15 from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Camp Lael.
Lapeer Day Camp is a fun-filled day for kids ages 5-7 who have completed kindergarten or first grade as of July 1. You do not have to be a 4-H member to enjoy the fun. Bring a friend, and both campers will be entered in a drawing. The winner gets to camp for free.

The theme this year is Tropical Paradise, and will include activities such as crafts, swimming, songs and games and learning about rain forests.

Overnight Camp, from July 16-19 at Camp Lael, is for those who have completed grades 2- 6 by July 1.
For a registration form, to volunteer, or for details, call the MSU Extension office at 810-667-0344. Space is still available in both camps, so don’t miss out on the summer fun. Only one discount allowed per person. — R.A.
