LAPEER — The Coffee Tree Café will host Jaime at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 26.
Lapeer Music Soundstage/Cup of Joe Downtown will have Songwriter’s Night featuring Mike Ruh, Holly Bernd, Keith Davison, Mark Allen, Jim Bach, Don Hessell, Ed Gillis, Jim Albert and Brian Bates.
Abruzzo’s Piano Grill will host Back to Back on Saturday, April 26 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
The Lake Inn hosts Jeff Gurney every Saturday night starting at 9 p.m.
Art show
NORTH BRANCH — Students from North Branch’s high school, middle school, and Ruth Fox Elementary will have their art work on display at the North Branch Township Office. There will be a reception from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, April 28. The show will run from April 29 through May 1 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Wednesday.
Auditions
LAPEER — Lapeer Community Theatre will hold auditions for I Hate Hamlet at the PIX Theatre from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, and from 6-9 p.m. on Monday, April 28.
NFL Draft Party
LAPEER — The Lake Inn, on Lake Nepessing Road, will host an NFL Draft Party for 2003 Lapeer East Graduate and University of Michigan Alumnus Jake Long. Prizes from The Great Divide and a drawing for an autographed football will be part of the April 26 party. The party’s at noon, the draft’s at 3 p.m.
Yearbook
DRYDEN — The Dryden High School Drama club will present Yearbook, by Steven Fendrich, on Friday May 2 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 3 at 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. at the Dryden Township library.
Tickets for the play are $3 each, senior citizens are $1.
Susan and Beth ask Jack and Eric to help move the hot-off-the-presses yearbooks. Between loads they stop to flip through the pages and reminisce about the year’s highlights.
