LAPEER
— Lapeer Music Soundstage/Cup of Joe Downtown will host Joe Toole and his band playing rock and country music from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 3.
The Lake Inn hosts Jeff Gurney every Saturday night starting at 9 p.m.
The Coffee Tree Café will host Jim Albert and Crew on Saturday, May 3 starting at 6 p.m. The band will play bluegrass music.
Abruzzo’s Piano Grille will have Between the Lines, featuring pop, rock and alternative music on Friday, May 2 from 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
The Hitch’n’Post will host Saint Paulie Street from 9 p.m. to close on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3 from 9 p.m. to close. — J.F.

The Testament of Freedom
LAPEER
— The 40th annual Spring Concert from the Lapeer County Concert Choir is Americana, featuring The Testament of Freedom by Randall Thompson.
Tickets are $7 each or $20 per family in advance and $10 each or $25 per family at the door. The show is Friday, May 2 at 7 p.m. at the New Life Christian Church on Newark Road in Attica and at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 3 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church on Millville Road in Lapeer. — Leo Days and His Majesty’s Showband will perform at the Lapeer Center Building from 7-10 p.m. May 3. Tickets are $20 each and include hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar will be available. — J.F.

— Lapeer East High School presents Guys and Dolls Thursday, May 1 and Friday, May 2 in the Lapeer East Auditorium. Tickets are $5 for students and $7 for adults.
