FYT presents ‘The Giver’
FLINT — Flint Youth Theatre presents its production of The Giver, based on the book by Lois Lowry, throughout April.
FYT student Garrett Markgraf of Metamora is part of the cast.
The Giver will run Fridays and Saturdays in April at 7:30 p.m., with matinees at 4:30 p.m. on April 19 and April 26.
Advance tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for students or $16 for adults and $14 for students at the door. Tickets also can be purchased online at www.flintyouththeatre.com. — J.N.

LAPEER — Lapeer Music/Cup of Joe Downtown will host Orange Barrel Convention on Saturday, April 19, from 6-8 p.m.
The Coffee Tree Café will host The Amazing Bill and Bob Show on Saturday, April 19, starting at 6 p.m. The Coffee Tree Café also has open mic night every Friday.
