Ellis-Markowski
Mr. and Mrs. Walter (Hugh) and Cindy Ellis of Dryden announce the engagement of their son, Jason Ellis of Dryden, to Amy Markowski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walker Markowski of Livonia.
Jason is a 1998 graduate of Dryden High School and is a senior mortgage banker employed by Quicken Loans in Livonia.
Amy is a 1999 graduate of Livonia Stevenson High School and is a certified medical assistant employed by Northpointe Heart Center in Berkley.
A September wedding is planned at Sunset Point at Walt Disney World’s Polynesian Resort. A reception will be held one week later at the Thomas Edison Inn in Port Huron.

Sund-Elder
Mr. & Mrs. Steven Sund of Pleasanton, Calif., announce the marriage of their daughter Laura Sund to Aaron Elder of Lapeer, Mich. The son of Mr. Larry Elder and Mrs. Ellen Haney of Michigan. The wedding will be held Aug. 25, 2007, in downtown San Francisco. The bride, 26, is a Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the Puccini Group, a hospitality design firm in San Francisco. She is a graduate of Los Gatos High School and Sonoma State University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics. The groom, 30, is an R & D Project Manager at Lucas Films in the Industrial Light and Magic division, also in San Francisco. He is a graduate of Lapeer East High School and Kettering University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. He plans to attend Business School next year.

Congratulations Erin
Erin Zettle graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School on the Dean’s List Jan. 20, 2007. Erin is a graduate of Lapeer East High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from University of Michigan-Flint. Erin was admitted to the bar of the State of Michigan in June of 2007. Erin is the daughter of Ann Zettle of Lapeer, Hal Zettle of Boynton Beach, Fla., and the granddaughter of Gene and Barbara Zettle of West Branch, Mich.
